Hi Michael: it has been a long time. My daughter is forty now, but I think I remember ok. At that time, I did not use wipes. We
could get these little baby face cloths, and they were so soft. I had a little bowl of warm water where I could reach it and of
course my daughter couldn't. As you say, I carefully brought the diaper from front and back while I held her little feet in my
left hand. Then I washed her with the soft cloth several times. I was not squeamish and did not use rubbber gggloves or anything
of the kind. I washed her until I thought she was clean enough and then touched her with my bare hands. I could tell this way that
she was clean. No matter what though, it is not a pleasant thing to do. Totally necessary though ehehehehehe! I like to hear
about a man who is willing to take up the unpleasant as well as the pleasant duties Michael. I am sure your partner must appreciate
it very much. Of course I used vaseleen or powder to make sure that she did not get a rash. I hope this has explained how I did it
as simply as possible. How

Subject: [blparent] changing dirty diapers

Hi everyone,

Do any of you have any suggestions on how to change soiled diapers and make sure that your baby is sufficiently clean? Changing wet
diapers is not an issue and something I do regularly, but I am nervous to do the same thing when my baby soiled her diaper, because
I am not sure how to be certain that she is clean especially without using a whole box of whipes. I have a girl so of course I am
aware that you should whipe from front to back in order to prevent infection, but babies don't always leave their mess in one tidy
place ready for you to just whipe it away.

Any tips or resources would be greatly appreciated.
