[blparent] General question

Hi Gloria,
I'm thinking you might mean an electric wand when it comes to
applying mascara? Not even sure that's a thing, so please inform if
I'm wrong. I don't personally wear mascara, because I have naturally
long full eye lashes. The most important things are to count the
strokes you make with eye shadow and blush, as you want to look even
on both sides of your face. Be sure to blend well with fingers and use
klenex or cotton balls to dab at your cheeks and above/below your lip
to make sure you get any excess make up off your face. Less is always
more, as well so no need to go heavy handed on dark colors or shades;
unless this is your style of choice, in which case go for it! Try to
keep your make up organized so you can remember what shades of lip
stick, eye make up and blusher you have. Also, try and keep your hair
back from your face when applying make up either by putting it in a
pony tail or using clips. This way you can fully access your face, not
get gross stuff in your hair, and really cover all the spaces on your
forehead/cheeks. Hope this helped. Do some googling; there are great
resources out there for learning how to apply make up when you're
blind.
Best,
Caitlin
