[blparent] Baby questions

Hi.
we are using the Beko Gemini baby carrier. Even though the buckle
system is somewhat complecated to use, we like the fact that we can
place Liam in different siting positions, facing in and facing out,
carried in front, as well as the hip position as well as on the back,
though placing him on the back is somewhat cumbersome. so if any of
you have a beco carrier and some inputs on the back carrying position
we would be happy to hear some suggestions.
we are using a large full length carrier. which we do not think is so
common in the Us, and we have a infant car seat for those times where
we are going out in a car.
We have a talking thermometer from cobolt in the UK. it is poorly
built and not too accurate but it is the only talking body thermometer
available here in Denmark.
We have made a fairly large changing table in our bathroom. But here
anything that you are comfortable with will do whether it is changing
on a bed the floor or a dedicated changing table will do. Just
remember that one day the baby will start moving around and wickle so
keep that in mind!
Of course having a baby bed a basenet or another safe and comfortable
sleeping arrangement for the baby is also important.
We bought a playpenn for Liam, but he has rarely used it, as he now
is mobile crawling around and earlier we have enjoyed carrying him
around the house so that he could be with us as we have gone around
doing our daily Chors.
Use your common sense as to what you need and what you do not need,
and remember you do not need everything which is out there, after all
we have been rasing babies since we lived in caves, and back then they
did not have spoons that changed color when too hot, nor bouncing
chairs with build in bluetooth speakers, yet they managed quite all
right! After all we are here!
On the other hand, there are great toys, products and devices out
there that may make your and the babys life easier, safer and more
comfortable.
Enough from me right now,
take care all of you.
jesper.
