[blparent] Traveling via Amtrak with a toddler - advice and suggestions please?

Oh man,
I didn't know about the 21-day advanced reservation discount!! We're 
supposed to be traveling next weekend! We didn't think of the amtrak 
possibility until just this week because we thought we'd be traveling 
with family. The family member who we were going to carppol with isn't 
going to the thing, so amtrak it is.

Thanks for the helpful info though. I'm seeing this is going to cost us 
a pretty penny. lol.
