Good Morning Everyone:

I too, would caution against the guest room/play room thing. When I was a little girl, there were three of us girls. We had bunk beds. However, when I took care of those six kids in WI, they had day beds in both rooms.

My sister-in-law and brother bought a trendle bed—two beds that were connected and one of the beds could roll up under the other one. It was actually a pretty cool thing when they were little. However, when they got older and bigger, they switched to the bunk bed thing.Never had any experience with “L-bunks.

The closet does take up a lot of wall space, but it provides so much storeage space that I think the trade off is worth it. Unfortunately, this was built in when we bought the house, so I don't know how expensive it was, and I think it was put into a room with no closet so if your room does have a closet I'm not sure if you can fit something in like this or not. I love Ikia (sorry, I might be spelling it wrong.) They are a store with lots of really cool ideas for storeage, saving space, etc.

We are planning on moving our soon to be two and soon to be four-year-old daughters enter a room together and then turning our other bedroom which is kind of a storage room office baby room into a playroom for the kids. Play room also have a sofa with the hide a bed we hope so that when we have family friends come over they have somewhere they can sleep. Anyway, I?ve been trying to find ideas on how many girls can share a small room together. My condo has pretty small bedrooms. Most of the ideas are on Pinterest and I am finding them in accessible. Has anyone ever done a project like this? I?ve heard of L-shaped bunkbeds. What are those? Thanks for any help or ideas!

Plus, if your guests have a place dedicated to them, your kids won't be able to enjoy their play room. Think of Grandma wanting to go to bed early, someone wanting to sleep in late... someone leaving things in the room that you don't want your kids to encounter... the list is endless.
