 Hi all! I just wanted to tell everyone thank you so much for your responses. For Valentine’s Day, I got my oldest daughter the bus Magnant toy that Joe  Elizabeth recommended. She absolutely loves it! Thanks again to everyone who responded.

Sometimes I will grab one of the magnets off the refrigerator to show him which letter he needs to look for. I am also able to write in print even though I cannot see what I am writing. I have to write fairly big, and I don’t do it overly quickly, but it works well enough for the purposes of me writing a letter or a short word and having him tell me what I wrote.
