Hi. well, I am in Toronto Canada so think it is a different Brian you
are after.
Well, I am a single dad and get some of this but whatever, people will
have their views. Not doing this as a popularity contest. Yes,
sometimes the comments get to me but just have to let it go. Otherwise,
could take up way too much space in your head.
Brian.

If so, I now have a kid of my own and now live in Chicago for now anyway. I would like to go back to Colorado at some point, but at the moment I have a place to live so it works I guess. Chicago is not all bad. I think you are the one who gave me info to the council, but I never got a chance to check it out. I would never let mine spend the night with anyone I do not know. It has nothing to do with my blindness. I have those that act like it is the end of the world for me to being raising my child as a single parent. I do not like being a single parent, but it has nothing to do with their reasoning.

When I asked my mom if I could go, she said no. I was upset about it for a long time, and just sat on the couch and cried. At the time I was sad about not being able to attend the sleepover. Looking back now, I can say that my parents did the right thing by not letting me go. They did not know my sighted friend or her parents, so I can't blame them for not allowing me to attend. I would love to hear your thoughts on this topic.
