[blparent] Advice from other blind mothers who have had gestational diabetes during pregnancy?

Hi,
I just found out today, that I have been diagnosed with  gestational  diabetes. I am looking for advice regarding accessible ways to test your blood sugar, and recipes or books that you found helpful to manage your diabetes while you were pregnant. Obviously, this a lot, and it is a little overwhelming. Any help would be appreciated.
