[blparent] New Podcast for Blind Parents

Amazing!!!

I have been waiting for this for so long.

I'm a recent blind parent of two wonderful young boys (2 and 4).

Here is my wish list of topics.

•How do you read to your children? I am not a super proficient Braille 
reader

•How do you manage outdoor play with balls, bikes, etc.?
•How do you keep track of your children at playgrounds and other public 
places?
•How do you help your young children with lessons that are visual, such 
as handwriting, reading, etc.?
•God forbid that my child gets hurt. What are some good techniques for 
assessing whether the child needs to go the emergency room? How can I 
assess whether the child has a broken bone, is bleeding, or has a 
foreign object lodged in their eye or something like that when I'm alone?

I subscribed. I can't wait for more episodes.
Please let me know how I can be help even though I'm a relatively new 
parent.
