[blParent] Help with ideas on how to attach bells to safety pins to pin to my daughters clothes?

OK, I bought some bells and some safety pins from a craft store. So I can attach the bells to my daughters clothing so I can keep track of her now that she is crawling and walking. My daughters babysitter has helped me try and attach the bells to the safety pins with wire, fishing line, and I believe embroidery floss. They keep falling apart and don’t want to stay together. What ideas do you have for attaching them to the safety pin? She is a year old, so I like that I can pin them to her back where she can’t get to them. Thanks in advance.
