The below research participant solicitation is being provided for informational purposes only. The National Federation of the Blind has no involvement in this research, but we believe that it may contribute to our research mission.

Hello,
I am doing a research study to help the nursing profession understand the perinatal experiences of blind women.  Perinatal experiences are the experiences during pregnancy, childbirth, and the first six weeks after giving birth.  If you are a blind woman and you had a child in the last seven years, then you may be eligible to participate in my study.  Participation in my research study is voluntary.  I need no more than 2 hours of your time.  I will interview you over the phone, at a time that is convenient for you.  If you complete the interview, I will give you a $75 gift card as a token of my appreciation.
