[blParent] Thumbsucking how do you stop it?

Children who are stressed need to learn a better outlet for their stress
and be re-directed. Are you and your partner physically active and keeping
up with her and if not, then is she attending a mommy and me or other
exercise type class, do you have a riding pony with springs or other
exercise equipment available for her? Immobile parents are not good for
their children. Riding a bike, even keeping her balance while you pull her
on a wagon to go to the park, a long walk, learning to skip, hula hoop
games, balls with bells are all much more difficult with your thumb in your
mouth, and the activity lowers the street that caused the thumb sucking.
Swimming is almost becoming possible and is easy if signed up for a class
with other moms/dads and a teacher to give extra hands. Kids karate can be
fun too.
Another Sharon - daughter of mom with a disability and mom to a blackbelt
twice over.
