[blParent] Some questions to those who blog

No pictures, and I didn't use my daughter's name till I wrote a book. Even then, I didn't put pictures of myself or my daughter in the book; I felt that crossed the line. Also, I didn't blog about anything really negative.

I blogged on GoodReads and Facebook instead of paying for a site, and then recently, I bought a domain and put everything on my own Web site, which is www.brightsideauthor.com.

If anyone is interested in my book about how blind parenting is essentially not much different from sighted parenting, it's called, "Daddy Won't Let Mom Drive the Car: True Tales of Parenting in the Dark." Information is available on my Web site.

Hi all! I have a couple of questions to those  of you who are blogging or have blocked about your experience as  parents. First of all, what platform have you used?  I know word press is accessible but I would rather not pay four dollars a month if I can avoid it.  also, what means have you taken to protect your children’s privacy? Our daughters are five years old and three years old. What have you done that for example about using your kids names or have you posted any pictures? I guess my last question is how has blogging worked  out for you? What has the experience been like and are you glad you’ve done it?
