Hi All,

First off all, I'd like to apologize for disappearing for a while.
After convention I developed the flu, and did not care to be involved
in anything except my pillow.

That being said, if any of you have not received a copy of the October
2009 CABS newsletter, and would like one, please let me know, and I
will arrange for that to happen. Likewise, anyone who wishes to submit
material, or ideas for the next newsletter is welcome to do so.

I've developed an interest in what CABS was before us. I have been
secretary under two presidents, and now vice president under one more
president, but, CABS did exist before Angela, Deepa and B.J. And, I
would like to know more about that. The California Association of
Blind Students Binder, the filing system the CABS board uses to record
our minutes and other relevant information has a history section, one
that is sadly lacking information. Anyone with information about the
boards that came before the 2008 election, or who has any articles or
other pieces of information that would help us piece together our
history is encouraged to step forward and contact me with your
information. Likewise, anyone who has any ideas of how to better
facilitate this search is welcome to give their oppinions.
