II. brief message from AIRA
A. People can sign up for Aira without any email, using only phone
number, at aira.io/app.
B. Back-to-School Program: this year’s program closes soon, and
applications open in early May. Gelena is trying to approach many
state student affiliates to get as many students as possible. AT&T has
been funding the last couple of years, but additional resources may be
added. If you know of any students interested in applying, they can
visit aira.io/bts. This is an interest form, so that students can get
an email notification when the application opens.
C. Los Angeles promotion: AIRA access is a plan by which businesses
can provide AIRA service free to those who want to use it at those
locations. Robin at AIRA is activating about 1,000 locations for free,
to encourage people to use AIRA at access locations. The more the
service is used, the more quickly the AIRA access network can be
expanded.

members attending. The guest speaker was Paul Howard, a Department of
Rehab counselor.

convene at the San Francisco Lighthouse on Friday morning.
Transportation to Enchanted Hills Camp in Napa Valley will be provided
on Friday at noon.
E. The camp has low ropes courses and other opportunities for team-building.
F. It may be possible to get funding from the Department of Rehab.
Contact Matt, Trisha, or someone on the planning committee if you need
help writing a letter to justify this.

getting short testimonials from students who have benefitted from
these types of events.
