hello lisa,

this is wonderful that you want to learn more about cabs and that you are thinking of joining this organization. cabs is also known as the colorado association of blind students is a division of the national federation of the blind of colorado and also a part of our parent organiization the national association of blind students.

cabs is also a organization which is comprised of blind students in all parts of the state who are students in all academic fields in educating the public about blindness and showing that blind students can also compete on terms of equality with our sighted peers.

cabs also works on advacy, readers, lab assistance, and other methods of using alternative techniques in the classroom in getting the tasks and jobs done. i hope this has helped you out. i'm sure others here on this list can also chime in also with more information about the organization.
