If it is as I heard someone from the area mention 
on Facebook, that they thought 1 of the 2 that got 
hit is or was a student at the CCB, then I'd say 
it's a little embarrassing, as they should have 
better skills, and know to listen to the traffic 
above and beyond listening to the traffic signal. 
Last I was aware, that's what both the CCB & LCB 
taught their students (and probably Blind, Inc, 
too, though I have no personal experience there). 
But that being said, hey, these things can still 
happen when we're doing everything right. Because 
whether you're a pedestrian or another driver, 
you're never sure that other driver is doing 
everything right, too. I'll venture to say that 
drivers don't do all the things they should be 
doing, correctly, as often as CCB & LCB graduates 
do, correctly, when traveling.
