[Capchapohio] Holliday Festivities

Hello

I hope everyone is doing well. Below is the details regarding the Holliday
Festivities that will take place after the December Second meeting. Please
read carefully as there is a lot of information in this message, and if your
like me you might glance over the email quickly and miss something
important.

 

The Columbus chapter will be hosting the holliday party at 12:30 P.M on
Saturday December 2nd. The choice of Restaurant that the Columbus Chapter
voted on is the Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern in Clintonville. The
address will be listed at the bottom of the email. They have been excellent
to work with they are excited to have our chapter. In the next couple of
weeks I will be sending the Menue out via the Email group and Shelbi has
agreed to print some menues off in Braille. I had a really excellent
discussion with the general manager regarding Braille menues, and explained
little detail about the NFB and visually impaired individsuals attempting to
make a difference and living the life we want to live. When I asked if we
could donate a couple Braille menues to their Restaurant he was extremely
excited, and is willing to except. Not only is this a great way to celebrate
the end of the year, but this is a exciting opprortunity to educate the
public such as the staff at the Restaurant on Visual Impairment.

Another activity that we as a chapter voted on is a ten dollar or less gift
exchange. This is not mandatory, this is simply if you want to be a part of
the fun. The rules are as follows 

1.      has to be a new gift 

2.      jender neutral

3.      no more than $10.

If you want to be a part of the gift exchange, bring your gift and we will
put all the gifts in a circle and each person will go pick a gift.

If you plan to attend plese RSVP to me no later than Thursday November 30th.
I would like to give the Restaurant a final number by December 1st. Any
