[CapChapOhio] Setting Goals

I am very excited about this and applaud your idea. I am also very pleased at having so much response to these emails. We have probably had more action on this list serve the last few days then we did all year! Looking forward to our meeting in January, and looking forward to hearing some of all of your ideas on what all we can accomplish.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. I like the idea of setting goals for the chapter. We certainly should have at least one for each month and ideally more than one. These could include having speakers. It might not surprise you to know I have ideas for speakers.

I suggest that we each send directly to you and not on the list at least five goals for next year. We then discuss and  prioritize at the January meeting. Of course during that discussion, other ideas might arise.  I will send mine by the end of the weekend if not before.
