  * Once again this year, the National Federation of the Blind of CT will be participating in the Birdies for Charity Program<http://www.travelerschampionship.com/birdies-for-charity> associated with the Travelers Championship, Connecticut's PGS Tour event. This is a simple pledged-based fundraiser calculated on the number of birdies made during the 2013 Travelers Championship. Donors pledge an amount per birdie (total number of birdies is expected to be an average of 1500 to 2000 during the tournament). Pledges<https://events.r2it.com/birdies/r.aspx?site=TravelersChampionship&charity-TheNationalFederationoftheBlindofConnecticu> may be made and processed online by Sunday, June 23, 2013.
  * Join the NFB of CT for a night of fun at a New Britain Rock Cats Game! The Rock Cats will be playing the Binghamton Mets on Saturday, July 20th at 7:05 PM. Tickets are $10. For more information, contact our outreach office at 860-289-1971 or info at nfbct.org<mailto:info at nfbct.org>.
