Craig, I guess I wasn't very careful the first time I read this message.  I
know nothing about the Website you mentioned.  I note that you said a
fifty-fifty raffle.  Are you planning for multiple drawings and announce the
winners on Facebook or selling tickets on Facebook?  I think your members
have to sell the majority of tickets from hand to hand, but you may be able
to interest some people on Facebook.  If you are planning to do multiple
drawings, I think Facebook is a good place to announce the winners.  Jorge
Hernandez from Florida is the person who led the one in Florida last year
and announced the winners on youtube. . His email is jeh6 at bellsouth.net.  

After the second reading of your message, I think this may be what you
really wanted to know.

I am attempting to put together a "meet the blind" event for our local
chapter.  We are trying to work with a local Walmart to hold this event and
sell 50/50 raffle tickets, as well.  I would also like to sell tickets
online and use Facebook to promote the raffle.
If you have conducted online raffles, were they successful?  Please share
any tips and suggestions.
