[Cash-and-caring] Giving Tuesday

Perhaps all of you know this.  Giving Tuesday is the Tuesday after
Thanksgiving, and I believe it is mostly online.  I don't know a lot about
its history, but it was deliberately scheduled the day after siber Monday to
collect some funds for nonprofits.  It would be a good time for state
websites to invite donations.  

Others who know more about this are encouraged to share what you know with
this list.
