Good outline. We do find that if you or a beneficiary of what we do tell your story in a personal way it makes a big difference.

I recently spoke at two Rotary Clubs. I used the “10 Courtesy Rules of Blindness” speech. The rules can be found on the NFB website.

I then spoke about what we do. After that, they were willing to assist me with our Annual Hygiene Kits for Homeless Persons Project. Try that as well.

You could try something like the concert that Melissa did recently in Baltimore. I also see many of our academies asking for help from Lions clubs, Kiwanis Clubs, Moose Clubs and the like. Take a kid or parent and tell them about BELL Academy ank ask them to help.

Hope these suggestions are useful.

Hi!
A friend and I are trying to put together a project for our local BELL EX program. Unfortunently, we’re stuck!!! We’re having no luck with raising funds for it. So, we need a mentor to assist us. Does any one know where I can find a fund raising mentor?

Blessed be!!!
