[Cash-and-Caring] Raffling beef? Anyone ever try it?

Hello:

     I have an idea for a possible fundraiser for the Montana Affiliate. My
idea is to raffle off either a quarter or half a beef. I want to sell
tickets on the Internet so support will come from outside the NFB.
I have questions:
Has this ever been tried?
I am thinking that since half a beef is a considerable amount of meet that
it would be good to receive it in small packages.
I know there are companies that ship throughout the U.S. 
Thoughts and comments would be appreciated. Thank you.
