.No report from the fundraising committee was given. They have not met. Next
meeting will be in March or April.

.Beth Greenberg gave a report on the WSSB karaoke night. Except for some
technical glitches all went well.

.State convention is coming up February 26 through March 1. SeaTac
Doubletree. Washington seminar did happen we had 4 persons attend in person
, but the big snow storm changed the nature of the event. Still many
contacts were made and the work of the federation was shared with the
legislators. The Washington state affiliate conducted a legislative
gathering on January 23, 2026 4 persons went from our chapter and
information was shared with two legislators from our district and one aid.

.The chapter chat segment was conducted. Skyler asked about monocular for
easy travel use. Amazone was suggested and assistance was made available.
Doug Trimble suggested Maxi-aids and the Washington State School's low
vision clinic for assistance.

.Bob asked about any membership building activities that might be planned.
No specific activities were discussed, but several members talked about
inviting persons with whom they have contact. Much discussion of ideas to
incentivize younger persons to participate in the chapter took place. Two
concrete suggestions were made to make the chapter a presence on social
media. Set up a regular calling committee to invite and remind persons to
attend. A wide variety of topics and suggestions were entertained. No
definite plans were made.

.Chriss brought up the treatment of the blind as patients when in the
hospital. Bob reminded us that he brought this up last October and suggested
that a project be developed and we have done nothing as yet. President
Higley suggested that the chapter engagement committee take this on after
convention.

.Secretaries note: The preceding discussion was too diverse and wide ranging
to encapsulate in these minutes.

Following this discussion it was moved that the meeting be adjourned and the
meeting closed at 11:21 PM PST.
