[Central-md-chapter] Tuesday Meeting

Hello everyone,  

 

Hope you all had a good summer.  Sorry I couldn't make the picnic.  I expect
to be there next week and would like to briefly discuss a couple of things:
I have tentatively scheduled a demo of the new voting machines that we all
will get to use in April.  The HoCo Board of Elections is planning to attend
our December meeting and they will bring along the machines.  

 

Also there are some everyday issues that I have never heard discussed at our
meetings.  E.g., how and where do we get new canes and new tips for our old
canes? 

 

Also, and we don't need to discuss this at the meeting, I recently received
from my doctor a pamphlet on back care.  I scanned it and can send it to
anyone who wants a copy.  It's in Word and has the figures missing since
they don't scan well.  Let me know if you are interested.

Now that it is Fall, it is time for us to get in gear.  Be sure to come to
our meeting on Tuesday October 6th at 6:30 pm.  As usual we will meet at The
Other Barn 5851 Robert Oliver Place.  We have lots to talk about and lots of
fun events coming up.  Don't miss it.
