[Central-md-chapter] March 6th NFB chapter meeting reminder

Hi All, 

Our next NFB chapter meeting on Tuesday, March 6th at 6:30 p.m. is fast
approaching. The Other Barn is located at 5851 Robert Oliver Pl, Columbia,
MD.

 

During the February meeting we 

Stuffed envelopes for a Basket Bingo mailing. We got an update on the
legislative activities in January. We talked about a chapter field trip to
Washington D.C. to see a tactile photo exhibit. Ending with discussion on
tentative plans for April and May  chapter meetings. 

 

The tentative agenda for the meeting is as follow:

1.    Chapter business

2.    Planning session for Basket Bingo

3.    Distribution of chapter membership roster

transportation fund if possible.

Funeral Home, Community Room (enter from back parking lot), address is 9013

March 25th - Recital and Sing-A-Long, benefiting NFBBELL Academy, Jernigan
Institute, 200 East Wells St., Baltimore, MD 21230. 

April 3rd At Central Maryland Chapter meeting - guest speaker from Howard
County's Office of Consumer Protection

April 7th - Bid-for-Opportunity Dinner and Auction, to benefit John. T.
McCraw Scholarship Program and NFBMD Youth Activities. VFW Post 9619, 6527
Suitland Rd, Morningside, MD 20746.  

May 1st At Central Maryland chapter meeting - Every Day technology
information fair

May 14th Tino's  Fundraising event 

June 2nd - Board of Directors Meeting. Location to be announced.

June 3rd - 6-K Dot Dash for Braille Literacy, 200 East Well Street,
Baltimore, MD. July 3-8th - NFB National Convention, Orlando, FL.

August 4th - Annual Crab Feast, Columbus Gardens, Baltimore, MD.

November 9-11th - Annual State Convention, Carousel Hotel, Ocean City, MD.
