Hello All,

All hands are needed on June 14 at 10:30 am. We will be meeting at the
Southeast Anchor Library, 3601 Eastern Avenue, Baltimore. From 11 am to 1
pm, we will conduct an informational protest asking the public to use the
electronic ballot marking device so that disabled voters can have a secret
ballot as other voters have. This is the first day of early voting. Please
send me an email off list to let me know if you can attend. If you live in
the Baltimore area, we expect you to provide your own transportation. We
need lots of people because the general public has no idea about this
discrimination. It is time for the State Board of Elections to change its
policy of only encouraging two voters per polling place to use the ballot
marking device. We can't get the job done without you. Please come! Thank
you!!

The National Federation of the Blind of Maryland knows that blindness is not
the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
