[Central-md-chapter] Tino's and other happenings

Hello all,

 

I am writing to remind you that our chapter fundraiser is Monday, October
24th, at Tino's Italian Bistro. Please promote this among your friends and
neighbors. The time is from 11am to 10pm. You can eat in, do carry-out or
have it delivered. 

 

We will be back to our regular meetings starting October 2nd. We will be
going to the Other Barn as usual at 6:30pm. 

 

I am proposing a Meet the Blind Month activity and would like to know if you
are willing to attend. 

 

On Thursday, October 4th, the Howard County commission on disabilities will
be holding its annual meeting and awards ceremony at the Rodger Carter
Community Center (3000 Milltowne Drive, Ellicott City, MD 21043). I am
getting an award and would like to have chapter members there. There will be
lots of members of the public and of county government and they should
realize that the blind people are an active part of the community. The event
is in the evening. You will have to get there at 6:45pm. We will make the
effort to provide transportation. Let me know if you can attend on October
2nd and October 4th.
