People don’t need to be told what to say in a letter. They just need the information about the bill to be worked on and the names, addresses, and emails of the representatives in question. Some of us have been doing this a lot longer than you have. I was with the NFB before there was email. Oh, and we passed a lot of bills.

The bill we’re focusing on this week is our newest piece of legislation, and it is critical that we build support for it. This week’s bill is the Greater Access and Independence through Nonvisual Access Technology (GAIN) Act.

Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.
