Greetings all,
On Saturday November 22nd, from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm, there will be a
seminar on Zoom entitled "Protecting our Civil Rights: What Maryland has to
Offer". Since we cannot depend on the federal government because of all its
changes, we must focus on Maryland. The seminar will talk about the various
types of discrimination and we will review such issues as when should a
person who thinks they have been discriminated against go to the Maryland
Civil Rights Commission and when should they go to the office of the
Attorney General. Note the time of this seminar. We are accommodating our
guest speaker Julianne Cozzetto, Head of the Civil Rights Division, Office
of the Attorney General. If you want to come to the seminar, please email
offline at nfbmdsm at gmail.com so I can send you some material. This will be
a great opportunity to have your questions answered by a wonderful expert.

The National Federation of the Blind of Maryland knows that blindness is
not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Everyday we raise
the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
