[CentralOK] Chapter Meeting Friday

Greetings all!

 

I hope everyone is staying cool and ready to get back to work now that we
have made it through convention season. We will have our regularly scheduled
chapter meeting this Friday, August 9, from 7 to 9 pm. We will meet in room
1 at the Will Rogers Gardens Expo Center located at 3400 NW 36th Street.

 

It is our chapter anniversary month! The Central Oklahoma Chapter was formed
in August of 2008 (I think). I may have the year wrong. Jeannie was the
first chapter president and can correct me if I got it wrong. In any event,
happy anniversary Central Oklahoma Chapter! We will have some kind of
goodies to celebrate.

 

Technically, we are supposed to have elections this month. Since I
completely forgot about it until just now and am totally unprepared, we will
have elections in September when I have my head on straight. Sorry for being
a slacker. I'm all consumed with preparations for my trip to the US Rowing
Masters National Championship next week and I am failing to focus on
anything else right now.

 

I'm still working on an agenda for the meeting. We will definitely have some
convention recap. I will figure the rest out and try to come up with a fun
activity too.
