This has always been a bone of contention. There may be a shuttle from Goodwill which can be reached by Metro or access I believe. If you have a case open with ood your counselor may authorize you to Uber there.

Neither is Goodwill! When I went through the job placement process—and this was years ago—RSC had a shuttle from Downtown to the Sharonville Convention Center. I remembered the Consumer Advisory Council brought up the issue, and one person in particular representing BSVI balked initially because he thought a shuttle from Downtown was too costly.

If I need to go somewhere like Sharonville or the SE Butler Chamber in West Chester, I always ask if there will be people there who actually participate in hiring decisions. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone to places like Sharonville (or Columbus, etc.) for job leads only to have some HR intern give me their cards (of course, not in Braille) and refer me to a Web site and cordially invite me to fill out an application.

Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.
