Please find below the minutes from the last meeting.

The meeting was called to order at 4:30 PM. People present were Jenny, Shon, Melissa, Marty, becky and Brian. Brian has accepted the vacant position on our board that was previously held by Daniel. We first discussed the state board meeting in which they stated that from 7:00-7:30, each division and chapter will have a table with activities that people can participate in. From 8:30-9:00, we will have a costume contest and from 9:00-12:00 AM on Friday night, we will have kerioke. We also have approval to do an event after banquet. Shon said that he had asked Madaline to do a dance class if this is what we wanted to do. We have to have resolution drafts to Tom and Brent by October 17th. The resolutions committee will be held at 8:30 AM on October 31st. We need to contact Guiding Eyes and The Seeing Eye to see if they are willing to become nonprofit sponsors of the convention so they will not have to pay , high fee. We also have our room for Saturday afternoon. We went over the amendment regarding board absences, modified it a little, and Marty sent it to Melissa so that Melissa could send it to the board who will vote on acceptance of the amendment via email. Don Brady, the outreach rep for Guide Dogs for the Blind,  then joined our call at 4:55 PM. We did brief intros and then commenced with the rest of our meeting. Melissa said that we have a confirmation from Ellie Carolson to come back and be on one of our pannels. We currently also have confirmations from The Seeing Eye, Guiding Eyes, GUIDE Dog Foundation, and Guide Dogs for the  Blind. Shon will talk again with Steve Patton and also Tina Thomas from our NAGDU board to see if they would be willing to come to our seminar also. Brian, Becky and Marty will take info at registration for our seminar. The order of the seminar will be registration, intros, and then pannels elections and voting on the amendment to the constitution  at the end. Our next meeting was scheduled for October 12th at 4:00 PM for the board and 4:45 for the general membership. The resolutions committe consisting of Marty, Shon Melissa and Brian was scheduled on Sunday October 5 at 6:00 PM. Shon will serve on the Resolutions committee. Marty will serve on the Nominating Committee. The meeting was then adjourned at 5:45 PM.
