Subject: Annual COAGDU Meeting This Coming Sunday

 

Hi there,

 

Melissa Green reminded me that we would have elections this coming Sunday
and of course folks will need to pay dues at our annual COAGDU meeting this
coming Sunday. It occurs to me that we have only a couple board seats open.
We have not set up a way to handle elections and I am not sure we really
have a way to collect dues during pandemic as easily as we normally would.
How do you guys want to handle elections and dues? I'm guessing that we
won't have a lot of contested election. Perhaps we can just see who wants to
run and make a group selection unless there is a contested. Also, perhaps
Maryann and I can circle back and just follow up with people to make sure
they credit card pay her for their dues. 

 

If we only have 2 or 3 seats up for the board, I would be very comfortable
simply asking the division to re-elect them for another year.

 

If folks want a brief call to discuss prior to Sunday please let me know.
Otherwise, because we are all busy, busy and really don't need another phone
call, in my view, I would like folks to comment on the above.
