[Colorado-talk] Notice of recent death of John Lang

Dear Federationists,



We have just received word of the passing of long-time Denver Chapter member
John  Lang.  Please see his obituary below.  Our condolences go out to the
Lang family.



 John Patrick Lang, 80, of Englewood, Colorado, died Memorial Day, May 30,
2011 at Meridian Retirement Community Center of Enlgewood.  John lived most
of his life in Mishawaka, Indiana, moving to Englewood in 1994 after the
death of his wife of thirty-nine years, Carolyn Lang, who died September 1,
1993.  In Denver he volunteered at the *National Federation of the
Blind*for several years.

John was a longtime member of the *Catholic Order of Franciscans*.  He
served in the Navy during the Korean conflict.

Surviving family are son, Thomas Allen Lang and Stuart David Nieb of Denver.
 John requested that there be no services.  Following cremation, his ashes
will be inurned at Saint Joseph Valley Memorial Park in Granger, Indiana.
 Donations to the *American Red Cross* in his memory will be appreciated.
