The purpose of the Mile High Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind
of Colorado is to:·       Advance the general welfare of the blind·       Serve
as a vehicle for collective action by the blind·       Provide a means for
the blind and interested sighted persons to develop programs to improve the
  quality of life of the blind·       Provide a means of collective action
for parents of blind children·       Provide blind students with the means
of joint action and expression·       Promote the vocational, cultural, and
social advancement of the blind·       Achieve the integration of the blind
into society on a basis of equity with the sighted
