Hi Terry and welcome:
I'm anxious to meet you. The NFB of Colorado will be holding our next state
board meeting on Friday evening at 5:30 on March 29. Folks from Colorado
Springs always attend. Please contact Jeanette and maybe you could ride to
Denver with them. The meeting is open to everybody and offers you a great
chance to meet lots of people and get acquainted. We meet at the Colorado
Center for the Blind in Littleton. The Colorado Center for the Blind (CCB)
is anh integral, active part of the NFB of Colorado.
If you have any questions or would like to talk further, don 't hesitate to
e-mail me at rmcgeorge at comcast.net or call 303-321-4268.
Best of luck to you. I think you will find you have moved to the
friendliest affiliate in NFB.
Diane

Hi Terry,
Glad to have you on the list. My name is Chip Johnson and I am a member of
the Denver chapter of the NFB and an instructor at the Colorado Center for
the Blind. I don't know of any opportunities in your area but I suggest you
contact Vocational rehabilitation to find out what may be available. To my
knowledge, the closest chapter of the NFBCO is in Colorado Springs but there
is also an at-large chapter which meets by phone every month. To get more
details, contact Jessica Beecham at (303)
778-1130 Extension 223.
