Welcome Terri,
The NFB of Colorado State Convention will be held in Colorado Springs in the fall. We are still trying to finalize our dates, hopefully mid-October. Stay tuned to Colorado talk for more details.
Hope to see you there.

Subject: [Colorado-talk] Introduction, and few questions

Hello there everyone,

My name is Terri, and I just recently joined this list. I'm new to Colorado, and I do have a few questions.

First of all, I am 36. I don't have any children, or pets. Though I love them both. I am totally blind, and have been since birth.
I moved to Colorado about a month ago. I live in Canon City.

I was wondering, can anyone tell me much about this area? Also, are there any opportunities for the blind, in this area?
I've been trying to research this, but am not having much luck.

Are there any meetings to intend in the area as well?

Anything anyone can tell me, would be very much appreciated. I'd love to meet some people in the area, or just in Colorado itself.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Terri
