Melissa

This evening I will be just returning from CSDB and consequently I will not be joining the call but do want to share my thoughts on fundraising.

As a reminder we do have the king soopers cards and I think we need to push them more than we do. Also Safeway has the same program and we should maybe start using their cards as well because it is such an easy way to support the chapter. Another idea is that we could have "restaurant nights". Our school does this where you hand out fliers and between such and such a time you get 10 or 15% of the profits. We have also done that through CAER and this can also serve as an opportunity to educate the public. Another idea is to take something to National Convention to sell or raffle. My last thought is to do what Maryland is doing and that is to sell 3 digit numbers for the lottery in a particular month. And if your number comes up then you get a prize of like $50 Sunday - Friday and $100 on Saturday. Each ticket is $5 and that is your number for the entire month. It is just a thought.

Thanks
