Folks, CCDC has developed an excellent Voters Guide and has taken interesting positions on ballot issues. I recommend following the links. Who knows? Maybe we will have a resolution or two about some of these issues. As a nonprofit, we are not allowed to support one candidate or party or another. However, we are allowed to take positions on issues.

Best,

Scott

In two weeks is Election Day,
Nov. 8

The members of the Board of CCDC considered the impacts of those 2016 ballot initiatives and propositions that are relevant to the disability community and adopted the following positions:

- NO on Amendment 69
- NEUTRAL on Amendment 70
- NO on Proposition 106
- YES on Proposition 107

For more information, the CCDC website now includes a <http://ccdconline.us8.list-manage2.com/track/click?u=d050b40a2ef66713771b9a342&id=17cddf79ba&e=2dd3574c6f> Voters Guide that answers the question whether or not the measure is a disability issue and provides our rationale for our position.

We know there is no shortage of bubbles to fill in on this year's ballot. But, unlike electing representatives to create laws on your behalf, ballot measures are a form of direct democracy. Did you know? In 2012, an average of 7% of voters did not complete their ballots. So vote ALL the way down your ballot.

All registered voters in Colorado were sent Mail Ballots beginning Oct. 17. Make sure YOU are registered to vote for the November 8 General Election and sign the below CCDC REV UP Pledge to Vote! TAKE THE PLEDGE: <http://ccdconline.us8.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=d050b40a2ef66713771b9a342&id=48c307e51b&e=2dd3574c6f> https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/REVUP-CO

CCDC thanks each of you for taking the time to vote this fall.
