Good morning -

The Accessible Technology Affordability Act (ATAA) is the bill that
would create a tax credit for blind folks to buy assistive technology.
We have 145 cosponsors in the House and 36 in the Senate. Colorado has
three cosponsors in the House, and Senator Bennet is a cosponsor of
the Senate bill. Our NFB legislative team asks us to put on a push
this week to get even more cosponsors. So, for today we are asking
that you call Senator Hickenlooper's office and ask him to join
Senator Bennet as a cosponsor to the ATAA, which is S. 212. Here's the
info to call Senator Hickenlooper's office to urge him to become a
cosponsor of the ATAA.

DC Office:
202-224-5941

Sample statement:
I am Dan Burke calling from Littleton to ask Senator Hickenlooper to
join Senator Bennet as a cosponsor of S. 212, the Accessible
Technology Affordability Act, because this bill will lead to greater
technology independence for blind Coloradans.

Thanks for making your call today!
Dan
