Greetings friends and colleagues,
We are less than 2 months from our largest fundraiser of the year. Register now for the NFBCO 6 Dot Dash https://runsignup.com/Race/CO/Littleton/6DotDash3. <https://runsignup.com/Race/CO/Littleton/6DotDash3> Remember that if you and your friends can raise a hundred bucks your registration is free. This year we are in desperate need of race sponsors. If you have connections or suggestions please get them to me as soon as possible. It’s great that Comcast is back with us as a silver sponsor. Be with us on Saturday morning September 9 for all of the festivities.
Tell us about your convention. Do you have a favorite memory? Was there a moment at the convention that inspired you? Your Blind Colorado Blog needs your articles. How was your banquet experience? We you encouraged by some of the artificial intelligence demonstrations on banquet day? What did you think about our man Curtis Chong’s presentation? I was extremely touched by Jessica’s report during the roll call of states and her election to the national board.
And writing about the blog. What are your chapter or division summer plans? Blog readers want to know.
Has anybody used the new rideshare pickup at the Denver International Airport? I would love to hear about your experiences. Thanks to the NFBCO, Curtis Chong, Dan Burke, and Gary Vandorn. A door pickup from Uber and Lyft is now a reality.
How about an article about your summer experience? How about a picture for the blog?
Thanks all! I look forward to hearing from you. Reach me by email kevan at nfbco.org <mailto:kevan at nfbco.org> or call 303-929-2369. I can’t wait for the dash! And the food trucks, and the blind beer tasting, and the exhibits and bouncy house for kiddos and the puppy raisers 😊
At your service,
Kevan Worley
