Hmm, I use NVDA, and it didn't focus that dialog that pops up when you select the nominee. After I selected Colorado, I had to scroll up a bit from the bottom to find it, then hit enter, and then hit the Vote button. Just FYI if anyone uses NVDA.

I just did the vote online. It did not act like it wanted anything more than to click the correct vote button.
When you are searching for "accessibility" find the second instance of it in order to locate the correct "vote" button.
I hope this helps.

Hello out there,
If I hit enter on any of those three lines, nothing seems to happen. I can't find the word "vote" except on the top, which is clearly not the right instance.
Has anyone gotten this to work?
This was a super cool initiative that I definitely want to vote for.
Thanks,
Tim

No sign up is necessary! The awards honor the best and brightest in the nation who are making state government more efficient and effective through IT. You can vote for more than one person or project in each category, and as many times as you'd like. Voting is open until 3/29.
* For Screen Reader users, an easy way to vote for TAP is to search for the word "accessibility" and once you find Technical Accessibility Program, you can enter on any of the 3 lines. At this point, do a "Find" for the word "vote" and it will appear for your vote. Press enter here.
We won this award in 2022 and we are proud to be nominated with our new team! Please support the TAP team and vote.
The Rules Establishing Technology Accessibility Standards are adopted on a permanent basis. We have an Introduction to the State Accessibility Rules web page<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__oit.colorado.gov_standards-2Dpolicies-2Dguides_guide-2Dto-2Daccessible-2Dweb-2Dservices_accessibility-2Dlaw-2Dfor-2Dcolorado-2Dstate-2D1&d=DwMFaQ&c=sdnEM9SRGFuMt5z5w3AhsPNahmNicq64TgF1JwNR0cs&r=POXFNpI9lzB-36NXnN77zUaZUGHpZJgDLQuTybdO0vs&m=K48kmV8uj7eD7Gjoc1f0ziMIKj3yI4GC5bRVbULgqEVv70dPXpnNy01wMB8_Z9B7&s=TuhePUPWNYiFN5RWA9jmWJS53yTYUUh4GF3KOEDHwWo&e=> that explains the rules in plain language, who they apply to, terms and definitions, etc. TAP will be doing a roadshow about the rules in late March/early April. We will provide updates as we get closer to the dates! Here are some other useful rules-related links:
