Hi All,

Today is one of my favorite days of the year! You may ask why that is and I am here to tell you that it's because the first round of the NCAA Men's basketball tournament tips off at 10:15 A.M. mountain. Their's nothing more fun than watching a power house like Duke or Kentucky getting pushed to their limits by a small school that noone's ever heard of in the first round. Today is also one of the most unproductive day's of the year with basketball from 10:00 A.M. until about 11:00 P.M. mountain time.

As such, this is also your last call to get in on the Mile High Bracket Challenge. Info can be found below and the prize is in excess of $100. Please let me know should you have any questions while entering or completing your bracket.

Thanks,

  Hi All,

I am excited to announce that at 4:00 last night the brackets were released and as such you may now go in and complete your bracket for our Mile High Madnes fund raiser. I don't know about you all but I spent all weekend studying (studying sounds way more productive than laying on my couch watching basketball). Hopefully it pays off this year! This year we've even got two Colorado teams in the tournament (CSU Rams and CU Buffalos). Though arguably neither of them got the respect they deserved from the committee as they've both got to play their way in through the first four. My UNC Bears unfortunately choked in their conference tournament and unfortunately weren't invited to the big dance!

Now that you've read through my tournament commentary, I'll announce that the fund raiser is $20 per person and payment instructions as well as the link to complete your bracket can be found below. Please let me know should you have any questions.

Thanks,
Cody

 Hi All,

It's that time of year again where we all become basketball experts and complete our brackets with the hopes and dreams of a perfect bracket, all to often to have our dreams crushed by the end of the first day. Either that or fill out a bracket based on which mascot would actually prevail in a dual. Whatever your strategy is this fund raiser is one you won't want to miss.

As such, the Mile High Chapter is excited to kick off our 3rd annual March Madness Bracket Fund Raiser. Last year our Vice President, Andrea Fowlerr took home the title and I believe she used autofil to complete her entire bracket. Will that strategy work again? I don't think so... but you never know.

Brackets are $20 a piece and you can buy  as many brackets as you like.

Entry fees are due prior to 10:00 A.M. Mountain on Thursday March 21 which is the time at which your bracket must be submitted. Funds raised will be split with 50% of entry fees going to the first place bracket and the other 50% going to the Mile High Chapter.

Entry fees can be paid via Zelle at garyvdrn at msn.com or by credit card at the link below.

Please also make sure the name of your bracket is identifiable to me or let me know what your bracket name is to avoid any confusion.

You can join any time between now and next Thursday morning; However, the brackets will not be available for completion until this Sunday afternoon at 4:00 P.M.

We are using the traditional scoring rules which are as follows:
First Four: not picking these games
Round 1: 1 Point
Round 2: 2 Points
Sweet 16: 4 Points
Elite 8: 8 Points
Final 4: 16 Points
National Championship Game: 32 Points

Please don't hesitate to reach out to me directly should you have any questions or need assistance filling out your bracket.

Thanks,
Cody
