Look at this amazing email I got.  It was such a nice thing to open on a
Monday following a nice long weekend.    Not only is there someone still
embracing DEIA, but made some very concrete accessibility improvements.
Please help spread the word in the community about this opportunity.
Please share with your members/clients/friends.   Arts and Culture is

Over the past couple of seasons, we’ve been expanding our efforts to make
our concerts more accessible and welcoming to community members with
disabilities. A few things we now provide at every performance include:

   - *Braille programs*, available automatically with no advance request
   - *Haptic vests* for patrons who are Deaf or hard of hearing, allowing
   them to feel the music
   - *Assistive Listening Devices*
   - A *Pay-What-You-Can* ticket option, alongside affordable standard
   pricing (our highest-priced ticket is $30)
   - A commitment that *no one is ever turned away at the door*

We also offer both *matinee* and *evening* concerts:

   - Matinees include *free parking* and are held at a fully accessible
   venue.
   - Evenings are held at a venue with strong public transit access.

Our biggest challenge right now is ensuring that individuals with
disabilities * know* these resources exist and feel invited. I’d love to
explore ways we might collaborate — whether that’s sharing information with
your networks, having CCDC represented at a concert with a lobby table, or
any approach that aligns well with your work.
