Hey there all –

You’ve been wondering about it, so here’s the announcement. Our 2025 Day at
the Capitol will be on Tuesday, February 18 beginning at 11:00 AM in the
Old State Library room at the Capitol. This is on the second floor next to
the elevators.

We will meet there with a visit from Rep. Gretchen Ryden, who represents
the district where the Colorado Center for the Blind is located. (Rep.
Ryden has sponsored us to schedule the room.) We’ll discuss our priorities
and break up into canvassing groups to distribute our packets and talk to
as many members of the General Assembly as we can buttonhole!

We’ll be done when we’ve distributed all the packets, which typically takes
a couple of hours. We will have the room only until 1 PM, so we won’t be
able to store backpacks or coats while we’re out walking the Capitol.

Just to give us an idea of the number of us who plan to come, please send
me an email off-list to let me know if you plan to be there. This will be
helpful in regards to team planning. Email me at dburke at cocenter.org

See you soon!

Dan
