Dear Maryann

As discussed please forward the below information and change of dates to your communities. The City of Boulder will also send a clarification email to the people that already registered.

Clarification Regarding Public Art Tours

We’d like to clarify that the upcoming public art walking tour dates as previously communicated in July & August are not designed as tactile tours. While participants who are blind or visually impaired are absolutely welcome, the regular tours do not include tactile elements or detailed audio descriptions specifically tailored for non-visual accessibility.

However, we will be offering dedicated tactile tours specially designed for the blind and visually impaired community. Please save the dates until we will send you a formal confirmation and registration link:

*  🗓️ Wednesday, September 3rd | 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM

*  🗓️ Saturday, September 20th | 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM

These sessions will feature enhanced descriptive content and hands-on experiences where possible, creating a more immersive and accessible format.

We are deeply committed to inclusive programming, and we look forward to welcoming all participants. If you or someone you know would benefit from specific accommodations or has questions, feel free to get in touch—we’ll do everything we can to support a meaningful experience.
