hello jenny,
thanks for these tips i greatly appreciate this. i have in the past just clicked on the open link in the attachment and, opens up for me. but, for some reason it didn't! the file was a pdf not a word document. but, thanks for the tips and, i will talk to you soon.

Amy, there are a couple of ways to open attachments in outlook.
Option 1. Insert + A. Also known as JAWS key and A. Pressing these two buttons will take you straight to the attachments. Right arrow or control a if there are more than one attachment. Once selected, shift until you press enter.
You can also copy the attachment when it is selected . Copy is control +C. Then you can go to your desktop or documents and paste. Paste is control + V.
Option 2. Open the email. Tab + Shift until it says attachments. Then press right arrow to select. Open, save, copy, etc. are same as above in option 1.

hello all,
i hope that you all are recovering from convention which was a amazing week of fun and learning here in the nfb.
well, i was able at one time open up attachments that were sent to me in outlook. but, now icannot do that!
so, how do i open up attachments that i get sent to people to read them and, then save them? i know to do this for ms word but, i can't with pdf's. so, can someone here assist me with this?
