[Colorado-Talk] SSI overpayment recovery

Hello, I got a notice that I owe Social  Security money because they say they overpaid me and I need a champion to be on my side because the other payment was not my fault if there was even an overpayment at all. Can someone please help me because I have a meeting with them on Tuesday to file a request for a waiver but should I go to this meeting or should I postpone it and wait until I have someone with me who is able to look at the paperwork and documentation that I would have to provide as proof that the overpayment was not my fault? Is there someone in particular I can speak with or be referred to on this matter? I think I remember that Social Security was sued by the NFB not long ago because of demanding overpayments. Is there a law in place now that they would follow?  Thank you.
